The Heart of Jesus
My heart aches for those who are homeless or displaced not sure where
their next meals will come from. This is a great opportunity for ministry as
believers. Feeding the homeless reminds me of a passage in the OT.
Pro 22:9 He who has a generous eye will be blessed, For he gives of his
bread to the poor.
Generosity is the key. Look for ways of expressing your generosity like
supporting homeless shelters. Be a friendly face with a warm smile. Make
them feel seen, loved and worthwhile. Remember that as believers we
are the hands of Jesus extended. Mat 25:44 “Then they also will answer
Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or
naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
